Let’s talk trash: you’ll treasure what’s on offer at the Colborne Legion Saturday, August 14!
For the annual Cramahe-wide Trash ’N Treasures yard sale, we’ll be up early with the COFFEE, cold drinks (50 cents!) for bargain hunters and serving peameal bacon on a bun, sausage ($3.50) with fried onions (volunteers are preparing 50 pounds worth of the crybabies), plus barbecued hot dogs ($2.50) and HOMEMADE hamburgers ($3.50) with all the fixings for sale.
You’ll have sustenance to sustain you on your treasures hunting!
Donations of items for sale would be welcome. They can be dropped off at the Branch any day after 1pm.

Thanks to all the patrons who turned out for our Christmas In July deep fried turkey dinner July 16. Chef Percy Schutt fried up 10 18-pound turkeys — and we ran out in less than an hour. Obviously, you like this treat so we’re planning on upping quantities significantly next year. Thanks for your endorsement!
You can also rent our club room or our main hall for events at very reasonable cost — $130 per room. The kitchen facilities are also available for rent or discuss catering arrangements. There’s lots of free parking available, an outdoor patio, welcoming staff and hosts. Give us a call at 905.355.5479.
We’d like to remind everyone that you don’t have to be a member to drop in and enjoy our cool club room, our two pool tables, dart boards and large screen TV. We love company! We’re open every day at 1pm, seven days a week.
Welcome to the rebooted website of the Colborne Legion. Originally put up in 2007, it has laid dormant due to lack of anyone to keep it up to date. We are looking forward to providing you with more timely reports on what’s going on at the branch.
The branch has much to offer in the community but many people are unaware of just what we do. We hope to change that by opening this electronic door to what’s happening.
